Greenworks' electric lawn mower comes with two batteries for uninterrupted lawn work

The only unique and repetitive complaint for this model is that the battery cover is flimsy. Keep in mind that this compact mower runs for 45 minutes at most and has a 22-inch cutting width. These features make it ideal for narrow and smaller yards, but the machine may not suit larger properties. The compact size and easy-start features are made for homeowners who want a straightforward, easy-to-use mower.

Fans can access the restaurant from inside Truist Park on game days, while other guests can visit from the lawn doors on The Battery Atlanta side. It has a cutting width of 16 inches, which could be perceived as a pro or a con depending on your property size and shape. Reviewers with less than a quarter-acre of lawn space are very happy with this mower, especially since it is exceptionally lightweight.

Kobalt's Gen4 is affordable and has adjustable functions and height options

With a high 4.5 average rating from over 1,700 reviews, the 20-inch SKIL PWR CORE is preferred among homeowners for its seven height adjustment settings, bagging or mulching options, and industry-leading battery. For $329 at Lowe's, you can get your hands on this battery-powered motor that charges up to 30% in 30 minutes. Many people can mow their entire quarter- to half-acre in one go with some battery power left over. One reviewer even claimed to have an entire half-charge left. With 4.5 stars out of over 1,000 reviews, the Toro Recycler 22-inch lawn mower is a pricey but reliable long-term investment.

High and overgrown grass quickly drains the battery—avoid this mower if you don't maintain your lawn on a weekly basis or have a thicker grass species like St. Augustine grass. The blade also doesn't have much suction, so it may leave larger pieces of debris behind instead of bagging them for you. Suburban and small-property homeowners don't need powerful gas-guzzling lawn mowers to keep their lawns in pristine shape.

Aside from an alloy steel deck, it's primarily made of plastic. The handles, buttons, and supports are flimsy compared to mower models with metal parts. Keeping these pieces in decent shape is possible, but you must be mindful when handling the mower. Always pick up scattered debris, like sticks and branches, before mowing to reduce the chance of damaging the mower. Customers are generally happy, but a few people voice their concerns that it doesn't cut well unless your grass is completely dry.

The Brass Tap pours more than 200 varieties of beer, with 60 of those available on draft. Dining options are centered around a selection of customizable burgers, and there are shared plates, sandwiches, tacos, and flatbreads as well. Goldbergs Fine Foods is known for a wide range of New York deli-styled products like Reuben sandwiches, fresh bagels, matzo ball soup, and an assortment of platters. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams has a mix of commodity ice creams coupled with inspired flavors.

Another popular dish is the Korean Barbeque Beef (marinated, boneless short ribs with aloha sauce). There's a kids menu too, which features more than just the usual "chicken nuggets and pizza" - that Korean Barbeque Beef and grilled chicken are available in kids' portions too. Dean Fioresi is a web producer at KCAL News in Los Angeles. He covers breaking news throughout Southern California. When he's not writing about local events, he enjoys focusing on sports and entertainment. The primary concern most people have with this mower is that it doesn't work well on tall grass.

Many reviewers' main concern is that it's difficult to find replacement parts for this machine. Traditional riding lawn mowers are a nuisance in areas where homes are close together. They're noisy, smelly, and tricky for people to upkeep. By investing in a battery-powered walk-behind model, you cause less disturbance for your neighbors and have access to a tool that is easier to maneuver and maintain. Guests parking in the Red, Green, or Purple parking decks at The Battery Atlanta will enjoy four hours of free parking on non-game days and on game days up to four hours before game start. On game days, guests of The Battery Atlanta will enjoy two hours of free parking and can also have their parking validated after spending $50 with any Battery Atlanta establishment.

The battery takes over two hours to charge, and the wait makes lawn mowing an all-afternoon or all-morning activity. Fortunately, Toro sells additional 60-volt batteries for $159 each, so you can swap out the power cores as they run out of energy. Clean, prompt service, and a great selection of food and drink is perfect before a great game. I make excuses to swing by here even not on game days, it's that good. We tried a variety of things, but my favorite was the swordfish tacos (cabbage, cilantro, cumin crema, pico de gallo, guacamole, mango & papaya).

Worx 14-inch lawn mower has a commendable 4.5 stars out of 570 reviews. It's priced at $289.99 at Lowe's and is purchasable in tandem with a Worx trimmer and leaf blower. Like many other lawn mower models, it has six adjustable cutting heights and can be set to mulch or bag the leftover grass clippings. This model is also outfitted with indicator lights to tell you when the battery is low, and the collection bag is full. The mower's included battery can also be used to power the trimmer and leaf blower tools if you purchase the entire set.

It’s the life-changing cookie that sparked the idea for her latest cookbook. With “The Cookie That Changed My Life,” Silverton takes classic American baked goods — banana bread, scones, twice-baked croissants, granola, cinnamon rolls — and makes the best possible version in the universe. It’s a recipe that includes many of the tips in the introduction, like the now-let’s-see-what-you-learned test your professor gives you after the first three chapters of a book.

Sofreh in Farsi means “spread,” the traditional tablecloth for serving meals. But it means so much more that isn’t as simply translated. To sit at the sofreh is to take part in a ritual with connotations of community, hospitality, respect and manners. For Nasim Alikhani, chef-owner of Sofreh restaurant in Brooklyn, it’s a celebration of her roots in pre-Revolution Isfahan, Iran, and she writes so poignantly about her love of Persian cuisine. The recipes are a reflection of the cooking she grew up with and dishes she learned about traveling back to Iran from New York.

When catastrophe strikes, World Central Kitchen is often close behind. Fittingly, the relief organization’s first cookbook is filled with just as much heart as it is continent-crossing recipes. Chef and Youtube star Rie McClenny’s book may be centered around Japanese cuisine, but at its heart reflects a sentiment that speaks to everyone, regardless of where you’re from, or what you’re cooking. “This book is proof that the tastes from home can be yours, no matter where you are,” writes McClenny. I keep returning to the section on how to build a bento or how to craft a Japanese breakfast. And the recipe for steamed cakes that McClenny’s mother made for her as a child is already a favorite, the matcha cake impossibly soft and just a tad sweet.

Some twists are all about a technique that makes you wish you had thought of it first, like Maria Speck’s shortcut polenta that calls for soaking the polenta overnight so that the actual cooking part takes a dozen minutes instead of an hour. And in Dana Velden’s fluffy buttermilk pancakes, un-beaten egg whites add stability and texture instead of the typical whipped egg whites, saving you time and a sore arm. But my favorite hacks are those that rely on inspired flavor combinations, like Bryant Terry’s use of oven-dried tomatoes to add umami edge to a pan of vegan collard greens, or how Ignacio Mattos adds provolone to a raw fennel salad to balance its lean edge. Whichever recipe you choose to take on, you’ll learn something new about cooking that you didn’t before — and those are the types of books you want on your shelf forever. Lavinia is only six in 1791, when her parents die aboard ship and the captain, James Pyke, brings her to work as an indentured servant at Tall Oaks, his Virginia plantation.

When a white servant girl violates the order of plantation society, she unleashes a tragedy that exposes the worst and best in the people she has come to call her family. Orphaned while onboard ship from Ireland, seven-year-old Lavinia arrives on the steps of a tobacco plantation where she is to live and work with the slaves of the kitchen house. Under the care of Belle, the master’s illegitimate daughter, Lavinia becomes deeply bonded to her adopted family, though she is set apart from them by her white skin. In France, Cocagne has gained a measure of fame through her TV show, “Rendez-vous avec Le Chef Anto,” which focuses on the cooking of a different African country in each segment.

At first her savior, Marshall is soon Lavinia’s jailer. Kindly neighboring farmer Will rescues several Tall Oaks slaves, among them Ben and Belle, who, unbeknownst to all, was emancipated by the captain years ago. As Rankin and Marshall outdo each other in infamy, the stage is set for a breathless but excruciatingly attenuated denouement. In 1791, Lavinia, a seven-year-old Irish orphan, becomes an indentured servant on a Virginia tobacco plantation. Although she is white, she is raised by a slave family with whom she develops close emotional ties.

Soon, Marshall decides to sell some of the slaves—including Jamie, Mama Mae, and Eddy, Fanny’s husband. The slaves and Lavinia, who has regained her strength after quitting opium use, formulate a plan to stop this. The plan, however, goes askew and Marshall and Rankin get ahold of Belle and Mama Mae.

Galuten, who also co-authored “On Vegetables” with Jeremy Fox and “Bludso’s BBQ” with Kevin Bludso, writes accessible recipes for many scenarios. “I want you to know how to make a vegetable rice bowl and an aggressively healthful smoothie — but to also be able to make pasta and tomato sauce at the last minute for six people who you did not realize were suddenly staying for dinner,” he writes. On a side note, if you listen to this audiobook, take the time to listen to the last few minutes of the author speaking about her motivation and passion for writing this book. Grissom does a good job of creating a realistic character in Marshall, one of the antagonists, whose behavior is often horrifying and despicable and other times tender and protective. I loved the gentle and caring male characters of Uncle Jacob, Papa George and Ben, who nicknames Lavinia ‘little bird’.

Lavinia lives and works in the kitchen house along side the slaves on the plantation and forms a deep and loving bond with them, they become her family. Actress Tiffani Thiessen is the queen of leftovers in her new book, which offers recipes for repurposing leftover protein, grains, dairy, pantry items and everything in between. And each one is presented with a playful 70s retro aesthetic. Thiessen has a recipe for Bagel French onion soup that swaps the hallmark crouton in the bowl for a bagel.

Being an indentured servant means that she must uphold her servitude, and she must live in the slave housing though she is white. Because of this, she grows to love the slaves as her own family, coming to see the slave Mama Mae as her mother figure. She also grows close to Martha, who has several miscarriages and loses her young daughter, Sally, during an accident on a swing. Kathleen Grissom’s 2010 novel, The Kitchen House, is a work of historical fiction that centers on the happenings at Captain James Pyke’s southern Virginia tobacco plantation, Tall Oaks, beginning in 1791.

With dishes from both Turkey and the Wolf and its follow-up breakfast spot, Molly’s Rise and Shine, chef-founder Mason Hereford’s first cookbook is an ode to his family (biological, kitchen and otherwise) and to the gussied-up “gas station food” of his childhood. Kathleen Grissom’s The Kitchen House is a coming-of-age tale aboutLavinia McCarter, an Irish immigrant who, at a young age, is brought to aVirginian tobacco plantation called Tall Oaks to work as a servant. Lavinia is indentured to Captain James Pyke, the owner of the plantation, after her parents die aboard his ship. Once at the plantation, she is sent tothe kitchen house, where she is to be cared for by Belle, an African Americanservant who is the illegitimate daughter of Mr. Pyke. Belle and the otherslaves—Mama Mae, Papa George, their son Ben, and their two young daughters,Fanny and Beattie—grow to care for Lavinia very deeply, and Lavinia, in turn, sees them as her real family.

You may occasionally receive promotional content from the Los Angeles Times. I think The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom would make an excellent book club choice. In my opinion ‘The Help‘, ‘March’ and ‘The Kitchen House’ would all make excellent choices for book clubs. The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom is both a tender and horrifying depiction of a time when life was complicated and dangerous. I felt Lavina and Belle’s fear as they navigated the obstacles of their daily life and struggled with who to trust and how to keep their secrets. Eventually, Lavinia is accepted into the world of the big house, where the master is absent and the mistress battles opium addiction.

To stop him from killing Belle, Mama Mae reveals to him that Belle is actually his half-sister. This angers Marshall and they lynch Mama Mae and force Belle to watch. Jamie then arrives at the scene and shoots Marshall with a shotgun.

Compilation cookbooks can, ironically, often suffer from a lack of a theme beyond a loose naming conceit. However, “Food52 Simply Genius” by Kristen Miglore is not one of them. Each recipe hinges on a brilliant but simple hack or flavor twist that instantly makes you want to earmark the page for every recipe to make in the future.

She takes on colonialism, identity and culinary history, threaded with intimate personal stories — sometimes of struggle, sometimes of joy. For a book dedicated to “the tribe of Ni De Aquí, Ni De Allá (‘not from here, not from there’),” it reads like home. Some are traditional or family recipes, and some are made her own, like guanimes — dumplings that are traditionally steamed in plantain leaves and served with tomato sauce and bacalao — where she uses Dungeness crab instead of the salted fish.

This matinee performance will be audio-described for blind or low-vision audience members. Using a single earpiece connected to an infrared headset, patrons can listen to trained audio describers give live, verbal descriptions of actions, costumes, scenery, and other visual elements of a performance. Patrons who wish to listen to the description must pick up a headset at the Box Office window. Alison, the protagonist, tells her story in sharp and shadowy memories, full scenes and snapshots; it's more a quest for knowing if not understanding rather than self pity. She explores her life from three perspectives or ages - 'tween, college student, and current day cartoonist.

Adapted by Jeanine Tesori (music) and Lisa Kron (book and lyrics) from Bechdel’s eponymous 2008 graphic memoir, the show opened on Broadway as the first mainstream musical to feature a young lesbian protagonist, collecting five Tony awards, including best musical. That watershed moment merely touched upon the show’s innovative approach to its subject material, and this gorgeous Australian premiere, under the direction Dean Bryant, is a production infused with the sweeping emotion of its source material. The Tony Award-winning musical Fun Home traces the coming-of-age of lesbian author Alison Bechdel, from her youth, to her years at Oberlin College, and finally to the present, where Alison, now grown, is struggling to write her own graphic autobiography. As Alison reflects on her past, she struggles to make sense of it, particularly her relationship with her father, Bruce, a closeted gay man and the owner of the family business -- the Bechdel Funeral Home (“fun” home, as it’s known to young Alison and her brothers, John and Christian). As she watches her father’s self-loathing consume him, Alison recognizes her own experience of discovering, and ultimately embracing, her identity. As Fun Home progresses, Alison is drawn deeper and deeper into her memories, finally entering into them, desperate (but unable) to reverse her father’s self-destruction.

Re-staged for the Circle in the Square (more precisely, theater in the round), the chamber musical benefits from being brought into closer proximity to the audience. That’s a huge advantage for a show with so many introspective, confessional songs. At the same time, the oddly configured stage necessitates much swiveling in place to take in the entire house.

Medium Alison writes to her parents, asking for a response to her coming-out letter. Small Alison watches The Partridge Family, but Bruce angrily switches it off. Small Alison talks to him and finds out that he is going to see a psychiatrist, but he is ambiguous about the reason. Alison expresses annoyance that he lied to her; the reason he was going was because he was arrested for what he did to the underage boy.

News

Investigators said one of the callers was the wounded guard, who described his assailants as wearing hoodies and surgical masks and fleeing on foot after opening fire, according to law enforcement sources who were not authorized to comment publicly on the matter. Emergency radio dispatchers reported the victim as a man in his mid- to late 30s who was shot multiple times and called 911. Several other callers also reported hearing gunshots in the area, according to the dispatch reports shortly after the shooting. Esmailian was recently lambasted by Drake in a diss track amid Drake’s ongoing feud with the rap industry. But sources in law enforcement and the music industry said the incident appeared to be an attempted home invasion with no connection to the music business.

But the narrative keeps circling back to Bruce, whose desperate dalliances with young men may have gone unnoticed by his young children but did not escape the notice of his wife, Helen (a shattering performance from Judy Kuhn). In the absolutely wrenching “Days and Days,” Helen lets us know how unbearable it is to share her life with someone who is living a lie and can hardly bring himself to look at her. Bruce Bechdel (Michael Cerveris) is a complex and morally ambiguous character, a tyrant and a bully who nonetheless loves his children and has a special bond with Alison. Cerveris fully embraces this complicated man and all his bewildering contradictions. It’s only now, as a grown woman, that his daughter finds the courage to make peace with the man.

But while “Fun Home” is likely to keep you wet-eyed for much of its intermission-free 100 minutes, it is also wryly and compellingly cleareyed — or as cleareyed as hindsight allows, when it’s your own family you’re scrutinizing. Clarke conveys a pure innocence to Small Alison, who bursts in adoring identification with a butch delivery woman in Ring of Keys. McKenna is a joy to watch in Medium Alison’s fumbling adolescence, embodying her giddy exhilaration after having sex with a woman for the first time (Changing My Major). And Maunder warmly brings out a mature, yet equally devastating realisation of slipping time and heart-wrenching loss in Telephone Wire. The sources said at least four people were inside the Encino mansion at the time the shots were fired, but they did not know whether Esmailian was among them. Investigators suspect the gunmen planned to break into the home and probably knew of Esmailian’s wealth.

She originated the role of June Carter Cash in Ring of Fire on Broadway, as well as the roles of Betty Jean in The Marvelous Wonderettes and Alison in Bingo off-Broadway. Other off-Broadway and regional credits include Fun Home (The Public Theater), Annie Get Your Gun (CMT) and Sister Act (Alliance Theatre). On film, Malone can be seen in Taylor Hackford’s The Comedian, co-starring opposite Robert DeNiro and Edie Falco. An unforgettable and groundbreaking musical, Fun Home explores the haunting pull of memory and the power it has to alternately destroy or shape, our identity. (It’s like calling everyone “darling.”) But “Fun Home” really earns the praise. Lisa Kron, who wrote both book and lyrics, assembles words and images in unexpected ways to dramatize the bittersweet memoir (based on the 2006 graphic novel by Alison Bechdel) of a grown woman remembering the troubled father she loved in spite of himself.

“Mandisa was a voice of encouragement and truth to people facing life’s challenges all around the world,” Mandisa’s Instagram account said Friday in the post announcing her death. Proceeds raised at the dinner, which is a celebration of the First Amendment, go towards the WHCA and the journalists who work to cover the president. Jost follows in the footsteps of previous comedians who have headlined the dinner over the years, including Roy Wood Jr., Trevor Noah, Jay Leno, Keegan-Michael Key and more.

The history-making Tony win — the first time a musical written only by women won Best Book, Score and Muscal — was a proud moment for Tesori and Kron, who shared their hopes for future female composers and writers with Playbill. Alison considers the connection between her coming out and her father's death. Small Alison has a homework assignment to draw a map of places her family has been to, but Bruce aggressively takes over, drawing it the way he thinks it should look. Alison realizes that despite having traveled widely, her father's place of birth, life, work and death can all be placed in a small circle in Beech Creek, Pennsylvania ("Maps"). Bruce offers a ride and a beer to an underage boy, and it is later implied that they had a sexual encounter.

As she works on her memoir in the present day, successful middle-aged cartoonist Alison Bechdel (Alison) recalls two time periods in her life. The first is her childhood, around age 10 (Small Alison), when she struggles against her father Bruce's obsessive demands and begins to identify her inchoate sexuality. The second is her first year in college (Medium Alison), when she begins her first relationship and comes out of the closet as a lesbian. Prior to joining Studio, she spent eight seasons at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, where she headed the literary department and coordinated project scouting, selection, and development for the Humana Festival of New American Plays. She is the co-editor of eight anthologies of plays from Actors Theatre and editor of 11 editions of plays through Studio.

Alison remembers herself, as a child, demanding that her father Bruce play "airplane" with her, while he sorts through a box of junk and valuables he has salvaged from a barn ("It All Comes Back"). Bruce tells the family that a visitor from the local historical society is coming to see their ornate Victorian home that he has restored, and his wife Helen prepares the house to Bruce's demanding aesthetic standard ("Welcome to Our House on Maple Avenue"). In a phone call with her father and a journal entry, Medium Alison expresses her anxiety about starting college ("Not Too Bad").

Storyline

Sam Gold‘s direction brings lucidity to the complex mechanics of staging a story that takes place in three time frames. And Jeanine Tesori‘s haunting music doesn’t sound a bit like anyone else’s music. When her father dies unexpectedly, graphic novelist Alison dives deep into her past to tell the story of the volatile, brilliant, one-of-a-kind man whose temperament and secrets defined her family and her life. Moving between past and present, Alison relives her unique childhood playing at the family’s Bechdel Funeral Home, her growing understanding of her own sexuality, and the looming, unanswerable questions about her father’s hidden desires.

CAST & CREW

Alison explores the tensions her family was under at this time and watches a heated argument between her parents. Helen confesses to Medium Alison her troubled and turbulent life with Bruce ("Days and Days"). Medium Alison, Joan and Bruce have an unexpectedly pleasant evening around the piano. Bruce asks Alison if she'd like to go for a drive, and (adult) Alison realizes that Medium Alison is gone; she joins her father in the car, breaking the boundaries of time. On the drive, she and Bruce struggle to express themselves to each other ("Telephone Wire").

The set largely consists of the grand, private home/funeral home, the family calls the Fun House, with additional scenes marked by lights and props. Its situations and dynamics are very specific to the Bechdel family; but we can all recognize experiencing reveals in our own lives, and grappling with the things we know, selectively ignore or avoid, discover and reckon with. When thinking about Fun Home, and his young co-stars, Cerveris shared his hopes for the future of the theatre industry and what Lucas, Williams and Morrow will watch (or perform) on future broadcasts of the Tony Awards.

Medium Alison is angered by a noncommittal letter from Bruce responding to her coming out. At a luncheonette with her father, Small Alison notices a butch delivery woman and feels an inexplicable kinship with her ("Ring of Keys"). Esmailian has been a key member of the team around the Weeknd, which is led by his longtime manager Wassim “Sal” Slaiby’s SalXCo, for more than 20 years and founded XO Records with the artist. He played a major role in bringing both the Weeknd and Canadian rapper Nav into the company and is deeply involved in the company’s dealmaking and promotion.

Concert performances include Mozart’s Mass in C Minor, Carmina Burana, Requiem by John Rutter, and Handel’s Messiah. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2011 as the soprano soloist in The Golden Boy composed by Freddie Mercury. Jeanine Tesori is a composer of musical theatre, opera, television and film. She won the Tony Award for Best Score (with book writer & lyricist Lisa Kron) for the musical Fun Home in 2015. Her latest opera Blue (libretto by Tazewell Thompson) received the Music Critics Association of North America Award for Best New Opera.

But it’s not all fun and games living under the same roof with their domineering father, the funeral director, who is also a schoolteacher and an absolute fanatic about restoring his Victorian home. The impact of Fun Home, which, following its Tony victories saw an increase in ticket sales, could be far-reaching, and it has already resonated deeply with theatregoers. Cerveris told Playbill.com in a previous interview that he had received messages from people who said his performance as Bruce had inspired them personally. Granted, it’s unlikely that many details of your childhood exactly resemble those of the narrator of this extraordinary musical, which pumps oxygenating fresh air into the cultural recycling center that is Broadway. As Bruce, Murphy finely carries the balance between his character’s captivating charisma and his repressed vulnerability. Prior’s performance elegantly nails his wife’s frustrations at her unhappy marriage, though her stiff delivery sometimes gets in the way of her strong vocals, especially in the moving 11 o’clock ballad expressing this long-suffering regret, Days and Days.

Read more about Cerveris' personal journey with Fun Home and the character of Bruce Bechdel here. "We force people to identify themselves first according to their race or sexual orientation or any number of things," he said. After initially focusing so much on Bruce's sexuality, he was surprised to realize he needed to focus on being a father as well, leading him to think about his own father, who also had three children. This revelation helped him to understand the role and his own thought process, which focused on Bruce's sexual orientation more than his overall life, differently. "People ask, 'How do you explain the theme to the kids?' The truth is we just told them," Cerveris said at the Tony Awards.

The songs play occasionally at a slower tempo than the original Broadway cast recording, which, while drawing out the musical’s pacing slightly more than necessary, brings a new clarity and detail to the score. With Bryant at the helm, the production holds dearly on to Fun Home’s depiction of an artist’s attempt to grasp at the elusive reasoning behind her father’s death – an incident that opens the show. It’s a harrowing place to begin, but it’s tactfully and shrewdly pulled apart by the director, his cast and creative team. Two-time Tony winner Michael Cerveris made his Broadway debut as the title character in The Who’s Tommy. He won a 2004 Tony for his portrayal of John Wilkes Booth in Assassins and a 2015 Tony for his portrayal of Bruce Bechdel in Fun Home.

Gordon Nimmo-Smith (he/him) is a Maryland-based sound engineer and designer. By day, Gordon works as the Audio/Video and Stage Operations Supervisor for Shakespeare Theatre Company. “Ring of Keys,” another trenchant musical number, is sung by the young tomboy Alison, who can’t articulate her sexual feelings but wholeheartedly declares her admiration for the butch lesbian who swaggers into a diner swinging a powerful set of keys.

His other Broadway credits include Sweeney Todd, LoveMusik, Hedda Gabler, In The Next Room, or the Vibrator Play and Evita. Alison remembers a time when Bruce took her and her brothers on a trip to New York City. After a long day, Small Alison, Christian and John settle into sleeping bags. He reassures his daughter that he's just going out for a paper, but Alison realizes he was probably going cruising.

The musical is a tumultuous tale of wrong and difficult choices, pain, and the need to find and center oneself as best you can. Despite his own passion for the material, Gold said he was surprised by the musical's impact. A finalist for the 2014 Pulitzer Prize, Fun Home received its world premiere in October 2013 at the Public Theater, where its run was extended through January 2014 before opening on Broadway in April 2015. “Fun Home,” a poignant and raw exploration of family, memory, sexuality and suicide, on Sunday completed a long journey from the margins to the mainstream as it won the Tony Award for best new musical. Sounds like the stuff of a pulpy Lifetime movie, doesn’t it, or of a choked-up, closure-seeking best seller?

Regionally, she has worked with the San Francisco Opera’s Merola Opera Program, the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, and Skylight Music Theater in Milwaukee, among others. These days, she has a successful Instagram page dedicated to ayurvedic teachings, where she posts about the mind-body-soul connection and intuitive living. Her coaching is done through her service, Simply Ayurveda. Fitness instructor and healthy eating proponent Alex Wach was a main cast member on Season 6 of Summer House. Still a big fan of all things wellness, the model is a personal trainer at Tone House in New York City.

Niecy Nash Cleans House

He speeds off but his car starts breaking down, though he manages to evade the police. Dianda escorts Ethel to the restroom while Clean searches for a vehicle to hijack. Michael’s henchmen arrive and chase Dianda and Ethel to the back rooms of the building.

Still a friend of many cast members (including Danielle Olivera and the Wirkus twins), his Instagram bio says that he's currently an event planner. Mya Allen joined Summer House in Season 6 and stayed through Season 7. While on the show, Mya had quit her restaurant consulting job to pursue her cookie business full time. Jordan's decision to stop being a full-time cast member came of his own accord when he left the Hamptons partway through Season 4. But there are also plenty of Summer House cast members we've seen leave since the show first premiered in January 2017.

Michael Moloney

"I am SO in love with Dean and beyond grateful to have a healthy baby. But this has been the hardest adjustment of my life. A friend of Carl Radke (they'd even shared a house at Coachella), Amit Neuman joined Summer House as a full-time cast member in Season 2, transitioning to a guest role for Season 3 before leaving the series. Per his LinkedIn page, he currently works for a financial company, Willis Towers Watson, in New York. The Clean House team will negotiate and make deals with family members in order to convince them to sell belongings.

Early on I learned that people don’t feel comfortable talking about design, but they have no problem talking about themselves. So I get them to talk about what they love to do, where they like to travel, what clothes in their closet they feel most like themselves in? I ask, if you were a piece of furniture, what would you be? If they say a chair, I ask what’s it made of?

I am talking with Mark Brunetz, the Emmy-Award-winning co-host of “Clean House,” a series that ran on the Style Network from 2003 to 2011. Some time afterwards, crime rates in Dianda’s neighborhood have significantly waned as more kids come out to play in the streets. While pedaling down the street, Dianda notices a garbage truck approaching and smiles. The next day, Clean sees Dianda with some thugs. He urges her go home, but Dianda replies that he has no right to order her around.

Each episode begins with a short montage introducing the subjects of the makeover. The host guides family members through the process of letting go of things with the assistance of "Go-to-Guy," handyman Matt Iseman, "Yard Sale King," Joel Steingold and designer Didi Snyder. Previous seasons featured "Designer with all the magic" Mark Brunetz, "Yard Sale Guy" Allan Lee Haff, "Yard Sale Diva" comedic actress Trish Suhr, "Organizer" Linda Koopersmith, and "Designer" Michael Moloney. "I feel it’s important to share what I have been going through the past seven weeks with becoming a mom and now this," she wrote in an Instagram post at the time (in part).

Where is Alex Wach from Summer House now?

She owns a clothing store, Uptown Cheapskate, in the city of Carlsbad. In 2019, she welcomed her first child, Dean, and little brother Cole joined the family in March 2022. Though she was a fast fan favorite, Sam Feher was only on Summer House for one season (Season 7, to be specific) before departing to focus on her entrepreneurial career (she's also a journalist and content creator). While we've seen glimpses of Season 6 cast member Andrea Denver in both Seasons 7 and 8 of Summer House, he's no longer around full time. The Italian model is busy with a successful career and some pretty fabulous world traveling, according to his Instagram activity. Let’s hope the show gets the jolt of life it deserves.

Although ratings remained strong throughout one of the most polarizing seasons, the audience can turn its back when network executives and producers least expect it. "The second thing I've learned is that most people are on the other side of the clutter to the extent that they're resigned. They just feel paralyzed by their spaces. "I've got signature questions that I ask homeowners," he said.
